Hello newbie here,
I recently bought 7 Dahua cameras from Andy and just finished the basic Blueiris setup. I originally planned to use dual NIC setup but just recently discovered that my electrician forgot to set up an ethernet port at the room where the camera cables come in. (Modem and router are in another room)
My question is: if I connect the camera poe cables to a switch, then that switch to a NIC on the Blueiris PC, can I run wifi on this PC (as opposed to a 2nd NIC) and still have the cameras off internet? I already gave static IP addresses to all the cameras and the NIC they are on.

Thank you for your time.

If nothing else is on that ethernet port where the cameras come in (all that is connected to it are the cameras), then yes plug that into the BI computer on one IP subnet and then use the computer wifi on a different subnet for the internet. Many people run it that way.
