question on double files

I am looking through my stored folder ,I find many files like this:

BY.20150208_080000.bvr ‎Sunday, ‎February ‎8, ‎2015, ‏‎3:48:30 PM 2.25 GB
BY.20150208_080000.mp4 Tuesday, ‎June ‎2, ‎2015, ‏‎9:33:57 AM 6.74 GB

original file is feb-8 , duplicate file in mp4 is june 2 ,, did the database in blue create these extra files?

if you play both files they are identical . So what happened?

Maybe some how on that date it happen,. but did not know you could do that to the database ,
