I have a Qsee QT428 and I have tried all sorts of settings in Blue Iris version 4.4.8.3 x64. I cannot get a connection to work. I have BI working with my Reolink and Foscam cameras just fine.

Anyone know where I can get settings for the QT428? I connect via the web browser on port 83. I have tried all sorts of combinations. Here are the results of the Find/Inspect button in BI:

Opening port 83...
HTTP Get / request...
OK
ONVIF GetSystemDateAndTime
HTTP 404
Opening port 8999...
ONVIF GetSystemDateAndTime
HTTP 12029
Checking for common cameras...
Foscam FI86xx/98xx compatible?
Foscam FI89xx compatible?
Foscam FI9821 V2 compatible?
Foscam FI9821 media port compatible?
RTSP port open?
RTSP port detected!

Thanks for the quick reply. I will give hikvision and dahua a try.

The web server on the QT 428 is running on port 83, no problem connecting via a web interface on that.

The other port that is used by the QT Dvr is 6036. This DVR does not seem to have RTSP or ONVIF capabilities. I tried all the Qsee profiles, but the ports it tries to use are 9000, or 536, or 8999 for ONVIF. I replaced the Media/video/RTSP port with 6036....but no luck. Not sure what the path is for the video, I just tried all the Qsee default ones while trying to replace the Media/video/RTSP port with 6036. I will not try the hikvision and dahua.

Thanks again,

John

There is a q-see QT option that uses 6036, that is likely the correct one.

IT worked, I did not see the second drop down box with model numbers in it. The 6036 one worked!

Thanks,

John

I have Q-See QT5716. I have been trying to find a way to publish a stream from one camera to a website. I can view the cameras in a browser through the QT interface but have had no luck getting a stream.
How did you get it? I tried rtsp://192.168.1.11:6036/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=00&authbasic=Password but as you said there is no RTSP on this series.
