Q6318-LE: is it a 1/2" sensor or a 1/1.8"? Conflicting info

Hi all,

Looking at this new camera. They advertise it as a 1/2" sensor, but when scrolling down on the same page it says 1/1.8" sensor size.

Am I misunderstanding how sensor size is calculated or is there an error on the page and it should say 1/2" sensor size in the technical specifications?

The datasheet says 1/2 so I would assume its 1/2. Only way to verify is to contact Axis.

i think in real terms there would be an almost indistinguishable difference between the two sizes.

For £3000 plus, Forget about it. For under $1,500 is a maybe and a chance..... AXIS pricing is not for me.
