all of a sudden the alerts are not pushing to my phone, i have to open app to view the alerts, is there a reason this may happen?
I was going to update my BI in hopes it would fix issues but my maintenance just expires and im stuck with a september 2024 update

iphone or android?

Make sure a phone update didn't change a permission.

I use pushover and an update turned off notification permissions.

Do a search here - iphone has some weird certificate thing that expires every year, so yours may have expired and not updated with an older BI version.

I think BI has a fix for future certificates

searching but no solution found yet
i did notice after you said that, that in the log its showing

Push: failed 80090328 to iphone

I've had the same problem for a few days. Usually when this happens (not very often), rebooting the BI PC (Win10 Pro) fixes it, but no help this time.

My log said "Push: failed 80090328 to iPad; check security exemptions and service Login". My alerts go to both my iPad and iPhone normally. Since both devices have had Apple updates pushed recently, I rebooted both devices,

I'm running BI 5.9.3.4; I don't update often when things are stable. Both iOS devices have BI app version 2.04.06, so that hasn't been updated recently according the App Store.

The last alert I got was Monday, 4/21, 8am, which is when one of my cams auto-reboots to fix other issues. No more 8am alerts since then, and no alerts on the mailcam I usually get alerts on when a package or mail arrives.

Windows installed an update on Tuesday, 4/22, 7:45 am, with a name including WINDOWSALARMS. A few hours after that was my first manual reboot when I realized the alerts weren't coming through.

It's starting to look like the Win10 update may have caused this. Edit: The Win10 OS build is 19045.5737.

Anybody else having problems with push alerts on Win10? Do I need to update my BI version to work with this Win10 update from earlier this week?

Update:
I uninstalled the Win10 update from 4/22, and it didn't make any difference. I'm not sure if Defender updates can be uninstalled; if they can, I'll try that when I get a chance.

Same with mine, running same BI version on Windows 11. The only recent updates on my PC look to be Microsoft Defender. Im on iOS 18.3.2 and notifications were working fine last week.

I also tried installing the Apple Push root certificate but it hasn’t fixed the notifications.
