PSA: IVS doesn't work in H264H or H265

Update 1: With @nayr 's comment I checked few more things and 264 and 265 work for sure from SPSS. I will check I will H.264H later. I would have delete the thread if possible.

I know it would be common knowledge around here but I wasted a lot of time figuring this out the hard way. So if your IVS is not working make sure you have chosen the encoding format as H264 where it works.

What device? I have IVS and h265 enabled on my cameras
 
Interesting. On the Starlight 2MP turrets. Please note I am using SPSS 2.0 and setting the IVS from PSS it self. It is able to read the rules that I set from web.
 
I setup IVS on the camera's WebUI and just view/playback w/SmartPSS, works perfectly fine.. so your PSA is more like: SmartPSS wont draw IVS w/anything not H264?
 
This cam business is a strange one. It is 11pm here and I am going on the street strolling in front of cameras to trigger the IVS rules. Thanks @nayr @tigerwillow1 I figured out my mistake at another place. SPSS 2.0 screenshots at IVS:Tripwire - Dahua Wiki helped. So now IVS is working for 264 and 265. I am not gonna check for 264H. Need to attend a conference tomorrow.
