My state outlawed "disposable" plastic bags to save the environment. Now grocery stores use these thick "reusable" plastic bags that I weighed as being 14x heavier than the disposable ones. I used to reuse the "disposable" ones as trash can liners, but these thick ones are completely useless, so I just throw them away. We're saving the environment by throwing away thick plastic bags instead of ones so thin they took up practically no space at all.
