Profiles & Scheduling

I've watched a couple vids on Profiles and scheduling but it's a little unclear. Are these options primarily for video recording? I have the cam set up to take a picture and update my website every 10 minutes. I would like to stop the snaps and upload process after 6m and start at 9:am. Is this possible with scheduling and profiles?

yes set a profile to only be active during those times...then in the post tab, simply check only that profile.
