This is the third night in the past two weeks that this small possum has raided the red milk crate near my back door. And what does it contain? Doggie poop bags from our dog walks, which we toss when we take the kitchen trash and recyclables out to the bins in the alleyway. (The dog poop also keeps the squirrels from raiding our trash bins.) The possum will pull one or two of the poop baggies out, chew on them a bit, then give up.

You'd think that after the second time he found himself eating dog poop, he would learn his lesson, but apparently not. I'm debating putting out a trap to catch and relocate him.
