Old/disabled/housebound.
Using Blue Iris to watch local wildlife & security.
my pc specs.

Motherboard: OptiPlex 7010

Basic I/O System(BIOS): BIOS Date: 06/28/18 15:31:46 Ver: A29.00

Central Processing Unit(CPU): Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Physical Memory X 2

8GB

Hard Disk X 2

SanDisk SSD PLUS 480GB SCSI Disk Device (447.1GB)

WDC WD10EURX-63FH1Y0 SCSI Disk Device (0.9TB)

Video Card X 2

Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Running wndows 7 Ultimate x64

Blue Iris 5.0.6.8 x64 installed & working reasonably ok but gettin occasional orang clock on gui.

Would appreciate some advice on what to changee & where to optimise performance etc,

Have a look in the WiKi, in the blue bar at the top of the page. There's a whole document discussing hardware and another discussing optimizing in there.

for a start a few screen shots form BI and the windows system. (on the windows screen shots not sure about windows 7, it has been a long time)

1) windows task manager process tab sorted by memory
2) Blue iris status (lighting bolt graph,upper left corner) clip storage tab
3) blue Iris status cameras tab
