Porch Camera IPC-E3241F-AS-M

Want to add an additional camera to watch our front door entry. Thinking of using the IPC-E3241F-AS-M. Which is better, 2.8 or 3.6 lens? Porch is about 30 square feet and distance to sidewalk is about 18 feet.

Would like to use a door bell camera, but don't have a door bell, just a twist ringer on the door.

This is my 3541F-AS-M (2.8mm) installed at my front door (5MP version to your 2MP). This is compared to the fixed T5442TM-AS 3.6mm above the front door (L) and the lower front yard FOV (R) with the fixed T5442TM-AS 2.8mm.

Yes. IR turned off. I have lots of light at the front door. The third pic above is at 9PM and here is one at 2am.
