POE Not Working

I see Dahua makes a 60w injector. The DH-PFT1200. Has anyone ever tried one of these or anything else? I don't want to keep ordering and returning injectors if someone knows of one that works.

Looks like the camera uses Hi-PoE, which is apparently not an IEEE standard, but instead a bit of a hack that has a port operating in both Mode A and Mode B to deliver two PoE+ feeds on the same cable.

I'm guessing the injector you bought doesn't support that quite right. I suggest you return it and buy something like this http://a.co/fsSm4PF

Port 1 on that switch is supposed to support Hi-PoE. Just keep in mind that your PTZ is going to draw 38 watts with IR on, and the total power budget of the switch is 60 watts.

I ordered one of each. As soon as I try them I will update with my findings.

OK so the 60w TRENDnet Gigabit Ultra PoE+ Injector arrived today and it will not power the camera. The BV-Tech 6 Port PoE+ Switch is coming tomorrow. Hopefully the third times the charm. I will post back when I get it.
