POE Injector advice for Dahua SD1A404XB-GNR - Conflicting info on Dahau website

Hi Guys

I'm just about to purchase a new camera and it requires POE 12v 1.5amp input ..can anyone recommend the cheapest POE injector I can get away with without affecting reliably ..I only need one port POE'd so I definitely don't need a whole switch ..I've found a 12v 1amp unit but does anyone know if this model camera is happy with only 1amp ? The IR will be in use.

it says max wattage on Dahau website 8w with IR on, so if i got a 12v x 1amp that should be 12w using P = Amp x Volts and yet the Dahau website says it needs 12v x 1.5amps

Just looking for clarification as the Dahau website seems to contradict itself ?

It would be helpful if you posted which camera it is.

You likely need an injector that is 802.3af (15W) compliant. If it requires 30W instead, you'd need 802.3at.

POE is not 12volt. This would be a proper POE choice:
