- I have a single Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I (running @ 3MP) "lobby cam" monitoring our front lobby.
- There are two (2) lobby doors:
- Door #1 leads to the exterior (outside).
- Door #2 opens to the interior of our building.
- I'd like to mount a tablet device on the interior side of door #2.
- This tablet would access the single "lobby cam" so that anyone standing on the interior side of lobby door #2 would be able to see who is in the lobby at any given time; in effect it would act as a window into the lobby.
I've recently come to possess a Gen1 WiFi (only) iPad device which I could use for this scheme; it's not very powerful but it would probably do the job. But I would need it to run 24x7.
Does anyone have any ideas for how I might accomplish this functionality? Any and all ideas would be most appreciated!
