Playback with HW acceleration gets corrupted

Some recordings always get corrupted at some particular place, and the only thing that fixes it is to play another file - moving in the current file does not help.

Playback from web seems to work, disabling HW acceleration makes it go away even for previous recordings.

There might be some packet loss on the network, but I do not think it should matter that much.

Any ideas?

Win 7, i5-3570k, I tried to update to the newest driver intel offered - 10.18.10.4885
BI 4.6.9.5 (4.6.9.3 also)
different cameras: DS-2CD2032-I, Dahua IPC-HDW4421C

I noticed this too on my setup, though I am doing a bunch of testing on a test server so I was thinking it might be do too that. I will have to go back and do some additional testing. I was viewing the recordings directly from BI app.

Just to add my experience, I was rainbow free (using direct to disk and hardware acceleration) until I ticked the box in Camera Properties | Video marked 'Also BVR'. I got rainbows (on playback only) until I unticked the box. All good again now.
