Placement Ideas for front porch

Hi All,

I'm looking at any ideas for placement of cameras to cover the front porch. I will be testing locations but I wanted to see what thoughts everyone had before I begin. My thoughts are to put a dome camera right near the door that the dome is only part out of the siding that will be put up. Placing a bullet camera for package monitoring at the front door. Then a turret camera facing out towards walkway. I will be enclosing the metal post with wood so it will be easy to mount and conceal the cameras.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Honestly, I would run all 3 as turrets. I just replaced a dome (referred to here as a wedge) with a turret and it's not as bad visually as I had thought it would be, and it's mounted directly next to the door at eye level. It also has MUCH better picture quality. The bullet also isn't needed as the turret will be a smaller form factor and give equal performance.

I have a T54IR-AS mounted on the ceiling above the door. It is also what is now next to the door in the red circle below.

I need ideas, on where to install a camera at the entrance

Initial plan was to install it on the stucco, by the door, but I'm not able to do that anymore(inside on the wall). Running a pipe or something, to cover the wire on the wall would look pretty bad imho. I have tried above the column at the porch entrance, or under the porch roof, but none of the...

Wife approved locations

My wife is very picky so I had to come up with a good way to place my backyard cameras! The Owl has a Wyze camera and the flower basket has a Dahua camera. From a distance the lenses are not too visible, but of course close-up it is obvious.

You might have an angle to watch that with a bullet cam looking from the far side of the garage door ( not pictured) up in the soffit to reduce your angle on face shots. And cover some driveway to boot. like the IPC-B54IR-Z4E-S3
I have 2 cams at the frt door. amcrest AD110 door bell and an 1179ew turret.

I would sacrifice anti-vandal over image quality, without question. Especially with it being ceiling mounted.
