People counter API broken in software version 3.100.0000000.6.R

I have IPC-HDBW5541E-ZE-27135-DC12AC24 with latest software 3.100.000000.6.R.
I am using API call to read People Counter data.
If I try to read total number of exits in a given day, at the moment outside (later than) time defined as counting period, I am getting all zeroes.
This was not the case in software version 2.8xxxxx.
Does anybody have similar experience?
