Password Reset Help with HikVision DS-7332HGHI-SH

Hi Everyone,

We have a HikVision DS-7332HGHI-SH but have forgot the password and cannot login.

I have tried to go through HikVision support but they have said to go to the Reseller but they are no longer available so we are stuck.

Is there any other way to reset the password. I have a password reset tool online which requires the serial number and date but the code it provides does not work in the SADP tool.

Any Help would be much appreciated.

Some extra information if it helps:

Device Serial No: DS-7332HGHI-SH3220161228AAWR696712339WCVU
Software Version: V3.3.2build 151125
DSP Version: V5.0, build 151120
 
Current start time from SADP & don,'t reboot device.
If old algorithm not work, soyou need null-modem cable, connect it to rs232 from DCVR to your PC.
Using PuTTY program & tftpd32 you can update & clean config

The oldest version I can find online for SADP is version2.2.3.6. Would this be ok?
 
Sorry the old start time was before I restarted the device. I have restarted now and tried the first code you gave but SADP tool is a bit confusing. Under password reset, I typed in the new password but there is no where to put the code. See image attached. So I created a file code.txt and put the code inside and then selected the file and hit import. But got message Reset Password Failed. :(

Am I doing this right?

Actually it turns out that if I restart the tool, it looks the same as yours but when I select the device it changes to the image I posted above which is very strange.
 
Possible it mean that only support new algorythm.
Find null modem cable and firmware for your device & all will be ok

I saidthat you need reboot device 1st & then get start time!
 
Unfortunately this still didn't work but I did managed to get it sorted.

I thought I would try my luck with a different support centre after being turned down by UK hikvision. So I emailed support.pk@hikvision.com and they responded almost straight away with a reset file which I used by reinstalling the latest version of SADP tool. Problem solved!
