This is going to surely raise some ethical concern. Viruses have come and gone overtime, the human body itself consists of viruses. Shares a bond. There has been a lot of inconsistency in the reporting of this pandemic and lets put this by simply saying that a vaccine dose is not the cure. The fact is human cooperation is the cure and if people were a lot more serious when cases started emerging in China (i.e. imposing travel restrictions), and if people were more serious even during the initial lockdowns (these lockdowns could have been averted if travel restrictions were in place from the get-go), perhaps it would have been a very different reality today.

I still say, once known the risk was much higher on the elderly population and those with risky underlining conditions, they should of been the focus and better protected, not like in New York...The Assist Living/Memory Care place where my Mom lived for 3 years did a lockdown, No One in except for Hospice care workers allowed. They did not have One single case of Covid. This was a sizable facility too...

We still do not know the long-term effects of these injections. This will only be known with time. Perhaps they know more than do we.

Easy to say that with confidence when you're shielded from any liability. I see they're no longer saying that the shot is 100% at preventing death from covid.

noone said that, ever. 95% effective at preventing infections has always been the claim for the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines. and the most recent numbers show, that even those 5% infections are significantly less serious, far fewer hospitalizations, and hardly no deaths statistically, compared with the unvaccinated.
