I am needing a paint color which will show up on a camera at night. All my cam's are Andy's 5442's.

I have tried blue and red, and that does not show up at night.

Where is paint being applied and what are you trying to accomplish?

The paint is going to be applied on the back of livestock to be able to identify them while monitoring over night.

I did have a few Color 4k cam’s as a trial to see the marking’s, but the visible light was not good for the livestock over night.

Good idea

As we were watching our cameras this evening my wife also was wondering if black would work?
It's not the color that we normally think of if the paint you are talking IR ..

For example a person can be wearing all black .. but on ir it shows up as 2 different shades of Grey due to the materials in reflective properties

Land down down under
If you're trying to identify animals at night with a camera's IR I would do paint patterns instead.
Such as an animal getting a paint pattern of three dots and two vertical lines, another gets the pattern of one dot 1 horizontal line.

It's not going to be as easy to distinguish when the animal is laying down, but it would give some hint in a black & white photo.

Would white work? I've noticed that white cars always show up as white under IR.

Why do you need to identify each cow?
Do you want to know the total count of cows?
Or you want to make sure each cow is not wounded or something similar?

We have a bunch getting ready to birth. We wake up every 2 hours to monitor.
I‘d like to be able to mark the ones who’s due date is close to quicker identify them during the middle of the night.

You can buy a car license plate (since it easy to read with IR on) and split it into digits.
Each cow gets a digit (assuming you have less than 10).
Maybe you can use velcro to attach it to the cow.
