Try making the the zig zag vertical. The object has to have half of it cross the line before it will reliably trigger.I have people working on the house, I have set up the lines while they're standing there. Then wait for them to walk though and nada!
Yes, and I changed to vertical still no activation. Are you on auto/default settings for things like brightness, contrast, shutter, etc?
Make sure you also check the record box if you want it to record the motion to an SD card if one is installed.I have people working on the house, I have set up the lines while they're standing there. Then wait for them to walk though and nada!
I am not sure, so I will go turn them off, and then do the find. I have guys working in the back yard moving all around so this is the ideal time to to let. Thank you for all your help so far!Did you do the find/inspect button again per my directions after you created the IVS rules and turned off MD/SMD?
So in order to get person detection I need to use MD/SMD?Using IVS with MD/SMD will only trigger for human and/or vehicle depending on if you choose both or only one. You may get that rare bird or cat that triggers, but not often.
The line detection is correct. You need to go into configure in BI for the ONVIF/camera and change memo to person if you want it to say person instead of line detection.
Whoops I corrected it - IVS only. No MD/SMDSo in order to get person detection I need to use MD/SMD?
Or would it be best to set IVS trigger than use AI to confirm person and only trigger then?
I did this while people were standing there. Did you see my new photos? You have to think in 3d, when drawing tripwires. Yours are drawn too high off the ground.
You want them at a height that will roughly coincide with the height of peoples waist.
Yes, I legit did every single thing thing, I even changed from 265 to 264!YES.
It is EXACTLY what I am doing, as well as many here.
My cameras ONLY alert when a person and or car, depending on the camera, is triggered by ONVIF.
Have you taken the camera off default/auto settings as I suggested?
Have you tried an intrusion box?
Yes. I wouldnt own them if they couldn’t. I use one exclusively for alerting me to people walking onto my driveway.Honestly, it seems ONVIF does not have the capability I am looking for, or the 5442 cameras cant do what I want. I need it to only alert for people or vehicles where I specify.
So lets make this very easy, can ONVIF on 5442 cameras, just alert to people and cars?
