ONVIF Device Manager resets motion when events viewed??

I have been attempting to use ODM to determine which of my cameras supports ONVIF motion event notification. What I have discovered is that it will instead disable motion alarms on any camera that I point it at. My cameras are running [FONT=&quot]V4.02R12.00006510.10010.1407 firmware. If I shutdown ODM and use the camera menus to enable motion again, it works fine. Otherwise motion events (send email) stop until I manually enable them again. The problem is repeatable with multiple cameras running the same firmware. My goal was to "view" the ONVIF motion event in ODM.

Has anyone else seen this?

UPDATE: I have used ODM on three different ebay onvif cameras now. Only one model shows any event action at all. It also happens to be the same one that resets the "motion enable" setting in the camera. Has anyone seen the Events section in ODM work properly? Does anyone have a support contact for ODM? Perhaps I am using it incorrectly?
