you need to match the cameras iframe interval to the FPS

in amcrest setup it is set to 20 fps and that is the same in BI. i could go to 30 fps in BI. I don't know where to set the iframe interval

Leave it at 20 or 15. The iframe interval is set in the camera settings ..should be on the same page as the frame rate. Are you using the camera wifi?

i changed to h.264b and h.264 and mjpg in the amcrest settings . i couldn't get mjpg to work at all with any settings in BI and i have incleded the screen shots of the h.264b and h.264
asmcrest 3meg h264b.JPGamcrest 3meg h264.JPGamcrest 3meg 1.JPG

the first one is H.264b this is H.264 with the other camera view to compare and the last one on the right is also with H.264

Try increasing the receive buffer to 20mb in blue iris.
Also, if the camera is recording to sd card, disable that function and see if the image improves.

Thanks, I sent them one yesterday and have had no response, I really appreciate all the effort you put in. this is a great resource.

i am hoping it is all due to version .15 i installed yesterday. my processor has been at nearly 100% since then. Task manager put it a little lower but is is way too high

If your processor is at 100 or anywhere near it, it explains the issues. What processor are you using? What other cameras do you have setup in BI? Are you using the direct to disk recording option in BI?

ye i am using Direct to disk
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4250U CPU @ 1.30GHz, 1901 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)8 gb.

enable hardware acceleration. Lower frame rates to 15fps, and set the live preview rate to 10fps(blue iris options>cameras)

hardware acceleration already done
i set the frame rates in both amcrest and foscam setups and the live preview rate to 10fps in BI options>camera

currently the CPU is down to 66% this is without any remote internal viewing . mush better on the CPU Thank you so much. the 3meg amcrest is still having the same problems. I am receiving 3 more of them today and i will try and change that one out and see if it could be something with the camera. although viewing it on amcrest software is perfect.

i have already had the hardware acceleration on
i changed the frame rates in both the Amcrest and Foscam Setup's and changed the preview rate to 10 FPS in BI >options > Cameras
the recording is set to 5 FPS
no one is using the remote internal viewing as of yet.

additionally i have the clips when triggered turned off as well, i am not sure if that did much but looking to save anything

I had a very similar experience when setting my Hikvisions to use H.264+ in conjunction with BI hardware acceleration (didn't have the problem with hardware acceleration turned off). With my Hiks set to use H.264 (not +) with BI hardware acceleration on, the streams were clear.

Thanks, I turned off the hardware acceleration and the ghosting went away on the live viewing. the replay of clips had ghosting bad. I have changed a couple cameras to save clips in 30 minute increments so i could email them is necessary and i could view them after they have been recorded
