Old Gateway GM5442, good enough for Blue Iris?

I was looking at refurbished optiplexes as listed in the recommendations for hardware, but thought I'd check on my old computer - would Blue Iris work with this? Thank you

nope...for 100 bux you can buy an hp 8300 i5-3570 that will not only be much more powerful but also much more energy efficient...the gateway belongs in the trash.

I'm not finding a lot of i5-3570 in that price range, but there are several i5-3470 available. Do you think they would work as well?

Yes ..link doesn't work... should be about 100...8gb memory is ideal
