Wanted to ask if anyone had noticed if after updating an oem hik camera to a full hik firmware if the hik-connect option is available vs the guardian oem service.
Picked up a 2CD2463G0 oem unit last week. Seems to match everything from the matching non oem except for a few things including the cloud service. All other cameras I have are non oem so using Hik-Connect is default. But having just this one camera on a different app is quite annoying.
would have preferred to buy non oem of this model but it sure is slim pickings for what’s available.
