nvr5216-16p-4ks2e does not show MD tic marks on the camera recordings.

Just got this NVR. FW is V4.001.0000006.0 2021-02-08
I have activated event recording on cameras, but when reviewing my recorded video all I see is a solid green line. No MD events are shown.
Any ideas? FW issue? Idiot user?

You have to set the recording schedule on the NVR itself.

When I look at the timeline on my NVR, I don't see IVS events unless I zoom in on the timeline. When zoomed out, the events are so short, time-wise, that they're just not shown. SmartPss is better about this. It shows the events on top of the green line no matter what the zoom level.

Yup. I use SmartPSS for live view and playback. Much better than the NVR interface.
