looking at A NVR for my mother looks like these are the same just one us and one international i can get both used one from amazon the 4208 open box with scratches or i can get the us version n42b2p on ebay used any pros or cons from buying us over international ?

also forgot to mention I will be wanting to use the dahua starlight cameras and also hikvision cameras will both work for those or one will one won't?

Always best to stick to cameras of the same brand as the NVR. They may work, but you will likely lose functionality..

will only be using the cameras for calrity doubt Ishe or I will be using any triggers or ect ect but hikvision does work on dahua nvr's correct? or is it only some work on them in general like plug in and able to view them

I cant vouch for any specific model as I dont use HiK, but yeah via onvif they should "work'
