NVR2108HS Audio in Live view

Hi @ll,

I have a new NVR2108HS NVR from dahua and configured already some cameras with it.

One camera has also an audio stream. It's activated as you can see in following screenshot.
I can also activate the audio in the mobile application.

Unless I cannot find a an option to activate audio in the live web view.

Is it not possible to activate audio in the live web view?

Excerpt below of the specs for a similar NVR ==>> NVR2108HS-I2
  • Third Party Camera Access: Onvif; RTSP
  • Interoperability: ONVIF (profile T; profile S; profile G); CGI; SDK
  • Audio: PCM; G711A; G711U; G726
If not already attempted with the Reolink, insure it's enabled for "ONVIF", try the available profile(s) in the Reolink.
Also, change the Reolink webGUI audio from "AAC" to the one the NVR uses that works (PCM; G711A; G711U; G726).

In my Reolink the Audio is activated, but as AAC.
I also cannot change the encoding in the Reolink camera.

Found out that audio is also working in the Dahua SmartPSS application.

Just asking myself if audio is normally working in the WEB LiveView at all?
