NVR set up

hi,

just bought a ds-7716 n1-e4 nvr. i haven't open the box yet but wanted to know how difficult is it to set up. is there any settings i should use/choose for better performance and better quality footage, etc. any help is much appreciated.

Step one, take it out of the box..
Step two, plug it in
Step three, read the fucking manual
