So, I'm looking to replace a Lorex NVR with either a NVR5216-16P-4KS2E or a computer running Blue Iris.

I recently found out that the Lorex would recognize a IPC-B5442E-ZE just plugging it straight in since they both are made by Dahua (thanks for the tip @wittaj). So, is the reverse true? Can the NVR5216 recognize Lorex E841CA cameras? (yes I'm going to replace those cameras, but I'd like to do it one at a time).

Any chance anyone has success with that camera with Blue Iris?
