OK, so I have a client who fired his IT guy because he was pretty inept. By his own admission (IT guy) changed the password to the clients NVR and then forgot what he changed it to. It looks like a generic NVR and the only product ID is this: DVR tag JPG
And the board on the inside is tagged like this:
First, can anyone point me to the manufacture or, even better, a way to recover the password or blank the one currently in place? I tried removing the battery from the SBC in the unit and removing power for 5 day hoping it would reset but it did not. I can always create him a PC with Blue Iris on it, but that would cost the client a few $$$ and it isn't his fault this happened.
Any ideas?
