Nvr computer with so much power?

Hi guys

From what I read on this forum, I think I'm gonna use a computer Nvr. My only concern is w10 for blueiris...
Is there any good Nvr software for Linux?

Also I keep continu reading that a i5-6500 is good for Nvr.... Yes I agree... But you can crush a nut also with a Sledgehammer...
As I have only 4 or 5 x 2MP camera, is it not possible to buy a used computer for about a 100 bucks to do that? What do you think should be the minimum requirements as Intel core and ram to be
Confortable with blueiris?

... Don't forget that old system are not efficient..You will be spending more on power than you save.
