I recently upgraded NVR unit and started to experiment with IVS. There are a couple of Amcrest cameras with IVS capbilities in my setup. I rely on NVR to save recording from all cam full time. I am used to using Amcrest Surveillance Pro app on Windows to export video using scissor tools. This works with motion alerts. Then as I've discovered, problems arise if the video includes IVS events within its time frame. The exporting progress bar will stagnate at the IVS time point for many seconds and eventually report "failed to export!"
NVR: NV5216 and NV4232-EI, both exhibit the same problem
Camera: IP8M-T2883EW-AI, IP8M-VT2879EW-AI
All cam's video encoding currently set to H.264+general.
I am wondering... are there settings available to remedy this? Not sure this is an NVR or App problem.
