NVR + 16CH POE quiet solution?

Hi.

I've installed a setup for a client that uses a Hikvision DS-7732 16CH POE NVR.
The issue is it is insanely loud, you can hear it roaring on the upper floor when you are half way up the staircase.

It is at his office so he can monitor the cameras while working, so something quieter would be better.

I'm considering finding a standalone NVR that has at least 100mbit incoming bandwidth and then running a 16CH POE Switch in hopes that it will be quieter.

I'm unsure if it's me but this NVR just is extremely loud, maybe an overkill fan but I am sure there must be a quieter solution

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Sometimes it's just a matter of finding which fan is making all the racket and replacing it with a quieter one such as a Noctua fan for example. Amazon is one place that sells them. On my NVR (QC8816 ) I had a case fan install upside down at the factory which caused it to vibrate and be louder. Very quiet now.
