Nvidia and acceleration

I want to move my Blueiris installation to a server running intel Avoton 2750 CPU, for blue Iris to work I have to use GPU acceleration.

The server doesn't have any onboard graphics.

what are the requirements for GPU acceleration?, menu says "intel" but intel does not make any discreet graphics card.

I found a Nvidia Gforce 210 for ~$20 will it work?
the server is headless so the only reason for the GPU is to lower cpu-utilization for BI.

any thoughts?
 
some further digging found me an answer I did not like, nvidia in not supported, only intel.

I guess I am out of luck..
 
At one point, nvidia GPU acceleration was planned, but Intel acceleration happened instead. It is unclear if it is still going to happen, or if acceleration will also work for AMD GPUs.
