Not so much for security as just a window.

HOA has all arch control, we have no windows to the street, view is other direction. There is no noticable crime here but hate having to the outside when I hear a commotion. See pic, the address shadowbox is accessible through the garage. The round architectural feature can be accessed and HOA is letting people put themed plaques on them ( some are recessed). Looking to install a HD cam. Suggestions appreciated. The area in front of the gate gets real busy with landscapers so the tree is out.

How about the dual-cam, you could paint it the same color or make into a smiley face :)! If you have spiders in your area, the turret cameras are recommended, as noted in the cliff notes.

Please read the IP Cam Talk Cliff Notes and other items in the IP Cam Talk Wiki. (read on a real computer, not a phone). The wiki is in the blue bar at the top of the page.

Read How to Secure Your Network (Don't Get Hacked!) in the wiki also.

Use the picture below of our front set up and submit to HOA. You could paint them to match your paint color (and do it with photoshop before you submit). If they deny, ask if they will provide security.

Yeah or try with them mounted left and right of the door and slightly lower (approx 6ft). They can always tell you NO, but if you say it's for security and to keep crime low in the area maybe they will allow it.

I have a couple of the dual starlight, but that high in the air they won't be good for ID, plus the domes shouldn't be in direct sunlight.
