Noob Questions

Hi all, Ive been a long time lurker. This week I finally made a purchase from Andy.

Purchased a DH-SD22204T-GN and NVR4108HS-8P-4KS2 to get started. I have a few questions, sorry if stupid

I want to be able to talk to my dog while at work, what is everyone using for a speaker?
Can this NVR lock on and track an object using PTZ?
Whats the best app to install on my phone?

1- Your dog is going to know you aren't home and ignore you. If your home has an alarm speaker, try using that.
2- The specs of the camera and NVR will answer the second questions. Look them up on the dahua international site.
3- iDMSS/GDMSS are the Iphone and Android apps from dahua. They work great for me.

Setup a VPN. I'm a total fool and i figured it out. If i can do it, there aren't many people dumber than me out there so you will be able to do it too. It took me about 2 months to process and learn how to get it setup (yes, i'm slow). VPN Primer thread, Google and YouTube are your friend.
