Axis site states that this model is H.264 and MJPEG capable, no mention of ONVIF.
The following setup (image below) works on an Axis Q-7401 with similar specs but with one analog port. Select Make and model in red; type in IP, user & password, click on 'OK'.
Since specs say your model has 4 ports, insure you have the correct port selected (also with red box) based on where your analog cam is connected on the encoder. If you change from '1', click on 'OK' again.

Good luck!

I have a test network I use for this so no security threat to give you access if you willing to help me. I ja e lots of questions and am buying new equipment to learn all the time. Let me know what you need from me to get this go8ng. I also have 2 ptz cameras to play with too.

You have logged into your encoder successfully with its IP address, user and password using Google Chrome and viewed live video from your analog camera, right? Internet Explorer won't work on this Axis that I have here.

Yes and no, yes I used the ip utility changed the IP address and gave it a password. I get no video in chrome as well. It seems to me it is communicating but just no video. Does the Q-See brand camera matter. Maybe not compatible. What about the port number? What port should I be using.

1) Verify analog output from camera is viewable when plugged directly into composite input (yellow RCA jack) of a TV or a NTSC monitor.

2) Verify analog input of encoder functions by inputting some composite input from another source other than the Q-see camera such as a video game or older DVD player (yellow RCA as well) that you know works OK.

If both above are OK, then use the following images to assist with checking configuration of the encoder. These are from a Q7401 and yours may be different but the concept should be similar.

The idea is to view a video source while logged into the encoder's "Live View' before moving on to trying to view the encoder with Blue Iris.

First image: Go to 'Setup', 'Live View' and insure 'Stream Profile' is set to 'MJPEG'. Mine works on Blue Iris this way and if all goes well later you can try a different stream such as 'H.264'.

Second image: Go to 'Setup', 'System Options', 'TCP/IP'. 'Advanced' and insure 'Enable RTSP Server' is checked and that the RTSP port is '554'.

Last image: If you still cannot see a live video from a good source when logged into the encoder's embedded web server pages (which is what you've been using to configure it), then I would suggest your select 'Setup', 'System Options', 'Maintenance' and select 'Restore' and when the encoder is ready, re-try the configuration.

ok I finally got a chance to set this up and I set everything as you instructed with no success. I even reset as suggested and still get a no video. The camera does work through the original DVR that it came with. Not sure what else I can do. I tried another camera with the exact same results. Camera I’m using now is the QCA8050B fro Q-See. I have green lights on the axis encoder with net light flickering. Just can’t see video.
