No 802.1X on newer Dahua cameras?

Hi all,

I've looked through the forum and can't find much on 802.1X/RADIUS authentication for the newer Dahua cameras. I have some IPC Color4K-T and IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 cameras which both list on their store pages having 802.1X authentication capability but I'm unable to find a tab in their interfaces that would allow me to configure it? See below screenshot:


When I look at the interface for some of the IPC-B5442E-SE cameras that I have I can see a tab for 802.1X:


Have I missed something about the cameras with the newer looking firmware? If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Cheers

You're correct. No 802.1X on newer Dahua firmware. As of now, the only work around involves an extra switch that is capable of working as 802.1X Supplicant.

Thanks for the clarification giveme55, very disappointing though as they are advertised as having 802.1x on their web pages…
