Bought Night Owl DVR VDP2-8 from Goodwill over month ago. Trouble setting it up because it is still in the NightOwl system with the UID and Serial under the previous owner. Therefore, I have no idea what the password is.
Just want to set it up by being able to log into the DVR main menu and use this until I get a new system that's not a NightO.
Question: can a password be generated somehow or is there a way to factory reset it?
I took the unit apart and found no reset anywhere.
If someone has an idea to work this, I kindly ask for your assistance.
