Price? I like the added luster. Have you seen the mini ip switch by bytes brothers to view iP cameras at the source
 
I haven't seen the bytes bro unit, sorry. If your serious about purchasing one, shoot me a PM. I can get these probably in a 2-3 week turn around.
 
What I like about it is that it has a 12v power supply for analog cameras, a flashlight, and it works with CVI or IP cameras.
 
It it priced too high for a hobbyist? Something like this might come in handy for me about once or twice a year when I need to troubleshoot someone else's camera.
 
I'd like to know the cost, and can it test the quality of a coax connection? Some have a "Video level meter:PEAK video signal level, SYNC signal level, COLOR BURST chroma level measurement." That has been useful to test. I need to find a good tester and once I find one I need to order 5-8 of them.
