Nexxt - IP Camera - XPY 1230

I recently purchased a Nexxt Solutions IP Camera, modely XPY 1230. The installation was smooth; however, I am having difficulties accesing the live stream outside of my home network.

I have enabled the ports and the UPnP settings for the device and router. I am able to connect to the camera using an outside network sometimes, but it appears to have about a 50% fail rate or greater. It says the connection timed-out.

This happens on both with the iOS and Android systems.

I am using the mobile-app XPY Guard to connect to the device.

Any suggestions?

These are garbage cameras.
upnp/port forwarding will result in your camera being hacked. See the wiki on top for securing the network.

no, that is not correct. Your cameras a VERY vulnerable, its not if they will be hacked its when. It is obvious you dont understand what port forwarding does.
 
Your cameras call home. Check your router logs.

You are new here. I would recommend that you study learn and keep the attitude to youself.
