Newbie Question - Setting up second camera connect via switch to router

The first time I set up a camera, I messed up and it took me nearly month to fix it, and don't want to go thru that again, so here's a somewhat novice question to make sure I do this correctly.

Set up is - first camera goes to a TP-Link Switch that has 4 POE connections, and then to my router. (No NVR in line.)

Simply want to add a second camera to that TP-Link, and before I set it up, wanted to make sure if I could use the same password I used for the first camera, or should it be different?

you can use the same or whatever you want that´s just individually for the camera.
