I am planning on setting up 8 of these cameras around my property using POE:

I would like an NVR that is easy to setup and connect to outside of the network etc...

Is this one a good choice?

I haven't ordered anything yet, so I'm open to different suppliers or models of both camera and NVR.

Sorry for the slow reply I am in Canada.

Funny that it won't work, that is the model that the seller of the cameras directed me to?
 
Chinese sellers (and some non-Chinese eBay ones) are lying and saying DS-2CD2335-I is the replacement model for DS-2CD2332-I. It's not, it's cheaper though, hence the lies.

If I were you, try to get DS-2CD2332-I or DS-2CD2342WD-I (more expensive) with DS-7608NI-E2/8P. Click on the models for video examples. IMHO worth paying the extra being a noob for NI but also for the true WDR WD models.

Being in Canada, it's better to get from Aliexpress. Check out the link on that in the Hikvision section.
