Hi Guys
Looks like a great repository of insight here!

I have a mix of a few cameras in my system and I'm looking for help to fix delays I have with the various brands.
So what should I be setting to get them to view live images with minimal delay?
I want to be able to setup my system for continuous recording but make the clips a manageable size for play back.
I want the system to recycle or write over old video when it reaches a preset full point.

My system is on a Dell i7 with 32Gb Ram
I'm using 500GB SSD for the OS, Applications, and Utils and a 4TB drive for video recording storage.

1 HikVision 2mp Cam
1-180 degree 4K Reolink Cam
2- Amcrest 5Mp Cams
2- Vikyin 8Mp Cams

Dell i7 doesn't mean much. What generation is it? it could be a 2nd gen or 13th gen or anywhere in between.

But regardless, you need to be using substreams to get the quickest performance.
