New to the forum so I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about my project. I have a Synology NAS (DS918+) and I'm running Surveillance Station to do all my recording. I currently have a hodgepodge of cheap IP cameras on my front and back porches, but my plan is to step[ up to something better. I've already contacted Andy to order two IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE cameras. These will take the place of what I already have. I think the 8MP cameras will work well on my porches because they are well lit all night. Not sure what I'm going to do around the rest of the house yet, but I figure I'll need around 11 cameras in total.
Anyways, I look forward to reading up on as much as I can that's already here and contributing where I can as well!
