New GUI "Working Mode" explanation?

I've searched but can't find documentation on these Working Modes. Does anyone know the differences? Thanks

Self-adaptive - that is like auto/default and camera will do whatever it wants to give a bright image at the cost of ghosting

Customized scene - use this to have the camera adjust profiles based on ones you set up.

Day/night switch - switches to day or night profile based on available light.

Thanks @wittaj. Sounds like Customized Scene if you use a Day and Night profile and have a way to automate the profile change. Day/Night switch if you just let the camera decide when to change based on lighting. About right?

A weird quirk is if you want to make any changes, go back to customized scene and make your changes and then go back to day/night.

Tried that and it didn't work. I set Customized Scene to 4 and Day/Night still shows 2.
 
@wittaj this work around worked for me. I didn’t realize I had to do it for both Day and Night profiles. Thanks!

I tried this work-around to change Day/Night mode to Color. I first Selected "Customized Scene" working mode and Profile as "Night". Changing Day/Night to "Color" and saving seems to be persisting these settings. When I change the working mode to "Day/Night Switch" and check, I can see the Day/Night mode is Color in Night Profile. But as soon as I move away from "Camera" screen to other screen like "Live" or "AI" and come back, The Day/Night Modes are changed back to "Auto" and greyed out in both Day and Night profiles.

I am running on a Web version: V5.01.0.2250226

So my question is, is this work-around no longer valid? If not, is there any other way to activate "Day/Night" mode in Color for "Day/Night Switch" working mode?
