New Camera system opinions ? First time buyer

I just have the first opportunity to play with IP cameras for my dwelling. I wired everything up but wasn't prepared for the huge selection of cameras!
Was looking for 6 cameras in total (3 outdoor (turrets) , 3 indoors (turrent + 1 cube) ) and probably add a few in future. Budget is <$2K CND (about 1.5K USD)

Hikvision was the first brand I looked at and was aware of the "no update" issue when buying from aliexpress.
Initially, I wanted to go with fisheyes cameras but managed to convince myself 2 turret is better than 1 fisheye.

I managed to get ahold of milkisbad and got a quote. However, being in Canada kinda puts me in different shoe. So checking out if buying from Costco Canada is worth it and a decent starter kit ? Also, if I go with this, can I still buy other hikvision/dahua to add to the mix ?

Personally, I like the turrets chosen which are 4MP cameras and with better night vision. Do you guys think I should bite the bullet and go with the rebranded hikvision ?

Cost is an excellent option. You may pay more than AliExpress, but considering that Costco has a LIFETIME return policy, how could a Costco newbie starter system possibly be the wrong choice . I vote "YEA" on a Costco Dahua or Hikvision rebrand.

Canadian here and Hello!

I have bought my 8 cameras from below and suggest the 3MP turret outside 2335 (but they like extra lighting to really make them shine)and the domes for the inside 2135. All the below you should be good for $1500 and no taxes but, if you get say 3 cameras at once they will ship DHL and you will get stung with 30-40 buck bill to clear. If you order via DHL option you would have in 5 working days. I would also consider Dahua set up if I wasn't all in on Hikvision. Noticed you wired I hope no CCA wire copper clad aluminum as that was a mistake of mine and now all UV rated underground wire.
