Hi,
Anyone know how I can configure my camera so that I don't get false alarm alerts when my neighbors motion detector lights go off?

Thanks,
Frank

It depends on what NVR or camera firmware you are using. It sounds like you are using a camera's built in motion detection, there should be a grid option of some sort to deselect parts of the image for motion detection.

Try adjusting the WDR to fade out dark shadows. I had clouds going overhead casting shadows and setting the tripwires off.

I will look into this. This was my another question I was going to post, regarding shadows.

Also might try the percentage setting under trigger, object detection. "Object size exceeds:" ___% (e.g., scene or major lighting change)

I used that with car headlights that sweep my yard. Helped some.
