Need Huisun Speed Dome 2MP Firmware

I bought a Huisun Speed Dome about a year ago, some plans changed, and I just now got around to installing it. It's my second one, the first one died and it was a fantastic camera until that point. This one is buggy as hell. Although the camera I bought should have auto-tracking, it's not in the settings at all. I checked the model number on the box and it does match what I ordered. Anyway, the camera's IR keeps turning off as the settings keep reverting back to DAY on it's own along with a bunch of other weird issues. My only option at this point is to take the risk of bricking the camera by upgrading the firmware. The model number is blank in the System page so that's no help. The model number on the box is DM-RDC216FIPT-KS20IC-W1

So much for the claims that their speed domes are not prone to failure like the mini ptz..

I think it is the same ip camera as this one:

If so, then you can find newer firmware with which it could go well.

Curious if you have any idea as to why the first one died? Did something damage it (lightning, power surge, etc.) or did it just randomly die for no apparent reason?

It just died. It gets no network connection. It still does the POST but but no link lights.

Did you try contacting Huisun or either the seller you bought it from? They may be willing to send replacement parts if they can track down a likely cause for the connectivity problem.
